"Aqua Grass Running"
Impressionist photograph of a blade of grass on the banks of the C&O Canal in Great Falls, MD.
Behind the Photography Scene:
To make this impressionist-style photo, I used a telefocus lens and long focal distance to throw the background out of focus, and manually focused my digital SLR camera until the blade of grass was just slightly out of focus. Having shot in RAW format, I was then able to change the color temperature in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom to transform the colors from yellow-green to aqua.
