Behind the Photography Scenes

With the camera on a tripod to ensure the same camera position for each exposure, I shot four photos at the same aperture, but with different exposure times. Using high dynamic range software, I later combined the two images to produce the final one pictured here. This technique allows the full tonal range of the scene to be captured, from the bright tones of the sunset, to the dark tones of the land beneath.
