The 2007 Smithsonian Folklife Festival showcased cultural pieces from around the world, some as large as this painted Pakistani bus, which was commissioned especially for this year's festival. The bus, a 1976 Bedford, now forms a part of the Smithsonian's permanent collection.

The back of the Smithsonian-commissioned painted Pakistani truck appropriately shows US-Pakistan goodwill and cooperation.
