NIGER
Ambition
Photo of a woman selling "cobbal" and milk (balls of boiled and pounded millet eaten with milk and sugar like a cereal) at the market in Torodi, where each Friday, hundreds of people converge from surrounding villages. Cobbal is made by pounding millet, boiling it, pounding it again with a small amount of water, then rolling it into a ball.
While this woman may be starting small, her ambition is to save enough money to one day start her own "restaurant."
