Behind the Photography Scenes:

Notice how the water is blurred, but the rest of the scene is not? Since I shot this photo in daylight, I used a neutral density filter, which blocked some of the light entering the camera, allowing me to use a slower shutter speed of 1.0 seconds to blur the motion of the water. With the camera set up on a tripod, the scene around (rocks, trees) remained sharply focused. A circular polarizer also removed the glare of sunlight on water.

Later on in Photoshop, I played with hue and saturation to give more color to the scene.
