SOUTH SUDAN

Photo of two Dinka children in a cattle camp. A traditional rite of passage for Dinka boys is the removal of the four middle lower teeth. You can see in this photo that that the teeth of the boy on the right have been removed.

The Dinka tribe is the majority ethnic group in South Sudan. The Dinka are traditionally pastoralist.
