Crashed plane in the background, a sign put up by the United Nations World Food Program warns people to stay on the main road at all times in order to avoid landmines. The dirt road on the lefthand side of the photo is the main road through town, connecting Rumbek's small, dirt airstrip and the center of town. Rumbek served as South Sudan's interim capital in 2005.
