Mr. Wisson West, Founder and Director of Gallery Serengeti, has invited Irene to exhibit four of her Africa travel/documentary pieces in the gallery's upcoming 2nd annual "Women in Fine Arts" show, which will run from March 15-April 25, 2008. The show will exhibit artwork of six female artists: Irene Abdou, Deirdre Bell, Adrienne Bracey, Katherine Kisa, Elnora Wilson, and Aviance Young.

The opening reception will be held at the gallery's Central Avenue location on Saturday, March 15, 2008 from 6:30-9:30 pm. A second artists' reception will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 7:00-9:30 pm. We hope to see some of you there!
